Terms and Conditions

These terms govern your use of PDF.COSMICO.DEV. By using the service you accept them; if you don't agree, please don't use it.

The service

PDF.COSMICO.DEV offers tools to merge, split, convert, edit, sign, protect and analyze PDF and office documents. Some run entirely in your browser and others use our server; every tool shows where it is processed.

We are not cloud storage

PDF.COSMICO.DEV is an ephemeral processing tool. It is not a storage, sync or backup service.

Input files are deleted as soon as processing finishes, and results expire and are irreversibly deleted after 60 minutes (or instantly, if you press “Delete from server now”). Therefore it is solely the user's responsibility to download their result file in time and to always keep a copy of their original documents. PDF.COSMICO.DEV accepts no liability for files that were not downloaded before they expired. This includes live editor documents: download your edited version from the editor itself (File → Download as).

Plans and service limits

  • Without an account: files up to 50 MB, up to 20 files per task and up to 5 server tasks every 10 minutes.
  • Free account: once signed in, files up to 100 MB, up to 20 files per task and up to 15 tasks every 10 minutes, at no cost.
  • PRO plan: files up to 100 MB, up to 20 files per task and up to 100 tasks every 10 minutes; Advanced OCR with Google Cloud Vision in OCR PDF, in PDF to Word, Excel and PowerPoint conversions, in extraction to Text, Markdown, HTML and LaTeX and in AI tool indexing; the live editor for Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents right in your browser (OnlyOffice); and the server-side AI tools (“Chat with PDF” and “Semantic PDF search”).
  • Tools that run in your browser have no fixed limit on any tier: they only depend on your device's memory.

We may adjust these limits to protect the stability of the service; any change will be published on this page.

Acceptable use

You must not:

  • Upload malware, viruses, malicious scripts or files designed to damage or overload systems, such as decompression bombs (zip bombs).
  • Process unlawful content or content that infringes third-party rights (intellectual property, privacy, trade secrets).
  • Try to bypass limits, security checks or authentication, or use the service in an automated, large-scale way without permission.

Files that fail the security checks are rejected and deleted immediately. We may block access for anyone who breaks these rules.

Your documents

You keep 100% of the rights to your documents and their results. We only process them to provide the service you ask for, as described in the Privacy Policy. You confirm that you have the right to process the files you upload.

Commercial terms and payments through Flow.cl

  • Payments are processed securely through Flow.cl (Flow S.A.). The subscription price and billing period are shown before you pay.
  • The PRO plan is activated immediately once Flow.cl confirms the payment.
  • The subscription renews automatically at the end of each cycle until you cancel it.
  • Cancellation: you can cancel automatic renewal at any time with no penalty. You keep PRO access until the end of the cycle you already paid for.
  • Refunds: in the event of a duplicate charge or a verifiable technical failure attributable to the platform, we issue the corresponding refund. Write to [email protected] with your account email and the date of the charge.

All of this is without prejudice to the non-waivable rights granted to you by Chilean Consumer Protection Law 19,496.

Service provided “as is”

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, with no guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Conversions of complex documents may differ from the original, and AI tool answers may contain mistakes: always review the result before relying on it. Nothing the service produces is legal, financial or professional advice.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PDF.COSMICO.DEV is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits or data loss, including files not downloaded before they expired. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to it.

Changes, governing law and contact

We may update these terms; we'll publish the new version on this page with its date. If you keep using the service afterwards, you accept it.
